A Brilliant NEW Pattern from Coffee and Thread

Happy St. Patty’s Day, Friends!

Did you know that retailers are expecting record sales for St.Patty’s Day this year? According to a poll on FOX News, consumers plan to spend the most $$$ on food (when did potatoes get so expensive?) followed by beverages (because…Friday). But, number 3 on the list was clothing. Yep! Because you know you can’t wear the same cheesy, green t-shirt you bought last year. No. Must. Get. New. Cheesy, green t-shirt…

Well, I’ve got a special (un-cheesy) dress to share with you today that’s perfect for St. Patrick’s Day. And, guess how much I paid for it…

NOTHING! That’s right. I’m going against the statistics and spending nothing on St. Patty’s Day attire with a vintage up-cycle instead. I know…I’m such a rebel 😉

I up-cycled a vintage tablecloth featuring hand-appliqued and embroidered flowers in, you guessed it, green. If this doesn’t scream St.Patty’s day, I don’t know what does. But, in the sweetest way, of course 😉

Isn’t this the most delightful thing you’ve ever seen? I used the latest pattern just released from Coffee and Thread. The Polina Dress (scroll down for link to WIN this pattern + 2 yards of fabric!!!) The vintage-inspired style of this dress lends itself perfectly to my cause.

The sweetness of the ruffles…..

The innocence of the tie…..

I even added some vintage lace around the hem to sweeten it up even more.

Oh! I just can’t get enough of this adorable dress! And of course, the wee lass in it, too <3

The Polina Dress pattern is on sale for just $7 through March 21. And, you can save another 10% off if you’re a member of the Coffee and Thread FB Group. Just look for the pinned post. Orrrrr………
